At any given time, many of us
are trying to lose weight. Some of us are able to do so

All of us are busy people and
when it comes to dieting, most of us tend to cheat a little
bit. The real problem is that the little bit of cheating can
add up rather quickly and unless we are taking note of what we

Adding an extra 100 or 200
calories into our diet on occasion is not going to make that
big of an impact. If we tend to grab a snack a couple of times
a day it may overtake us without us realizing it. Diet journal
tracking is simply a way of being able to keep track of
everything that goes into our mouth.

we see where the calories we are eating are coming
from.

tracking good for keeping track of our calories, we may also be
able to keep track of the types of foods that we are eating. If
we are restricting ourselves to a 2000 calorie diet but end up
drinking most of those calories in sugary sodas, we are
probably doing more harm than good.
In order for us to truly lose
weight for the long-term, we need to have a balanced diet that
includes plenty of raw fruits and vegetables. Make sure that
you're eating several servings of each of these every day. You
should also keep track of the amount of water that you are
drinking in your diet journal. All of these things will make it
easy for you to see why you are or are not losing
weight.
